They truly seem to care for him as they wanted many pictures taken themselves and gave us their e-mail address so we could send updates.
After that we went to a large mall/grocery store to get more milk and bottled water. Lunch again at the hotel and another 2 hour nap for Micah. Both Tara and I rested a bit too.
After waking, we ventured out again and took another long lap around the park and walking mall near the hotel. We got back to the hotel at 6:00, had dinner, playtime, a bath, books and bed at 8:30. He was really playful tonight as the restaurant had given him a couple of balloons.
He readily calls for us and, especially in larger crowds, wants me to hold him. We really have no idea what he's experienced up to now. The orphanage is about 3-4 hours west of here and far more rural. He never seems scared by anything, but will reach out for us when at the park, etc.
Tomorrow and Thursday are free days. We have plans to do the zoo tomorrow morning and will be back in time for his nap at 1:00. Hopefully we'll beat the worst of the heat. And actually, today did not feel so unbearably hot...it's just the humidity that kills you. That's a short and sweet update. Thanks again for all of your prayers.
Tim
Micah is beautiful and I love his little grin. Can't wait to meet my new nephew.
